$1.2m playground opens in Wodonga

The new Sumsion Gardens Playground in Belvoir Park, Wodonga, has been officially opened.

The $1.2 million project was partly funded through a Wodonga Shire Council grant of $878,000, which was received from the Federal Government.

The funding was used for the construction of a new interactive playground set within several hectares of land on the fringe of Wodonga's CBD and a new BBQ and seating areas.

The playground includes a range of musical instruments such as a xylophone, drum and hanging chimes.
