GE lights up the landscape with its new Evolve LED Series Area Light

GE Lighting Systems has released its GE Evolve LED Series Area Light which combines the latest in LED system electronics, thermal management, mechanical and optical design.

According to GE, the new area light unavailable in Australia delivers 30% energy savings compared to traditional metal halide lighting while providing an estimated 10-year service life.

The area light features uniformity to its light coverage, reducing hot spots and dark spots. Depending on the lighting distribution pattern the lights consume 97 to 214W.

GE says its Lighting Systems division developed the outdoor LED area light in partnership with Lumination, its global LED systems company.
