Judging to commence soon for About Face Awards 2009

THINK Brick Australia says the submissions of its About Face Awards 2009 have closed and judging will begin 2 July 2009.

According to the company, About Face is an invitation-only design ideas competition, which is intended to bring forth refined ideas focusing on the environmental, social and artistic potential to transform residential and mixed-use design.

Participants must incorporate the environmental capabilities of brick products while featuring at least 75% face brick in the non-glazed areas. The use of bricks as landscaping material is explored in the projects.
