Newscape Contractors says its Schaffer 3150 gets a good workout and always performs

SCHAFFER Loaders says one of its articulated loader 3150s was recommended last year to landscaping contractor Newscape, whom sometimes believes it’s worth paying a bit extra.

According to Newscape Contractors, its fleet previously consisted of a Kubota loader and a skid steer but the Schaffer 3150 offers more versatility and is much easier for its staff to use.

The Western Australia landscaping contractor says while it has three or four people inducted to operate the Schaffer 3150, anyone who can drive a vehicle can use it.

Newscape says it has recently built parklands for developers from Capricorn Village, Yanchep in the north to Meadow Springs in the south with their new Schaffer, which has already clocked up over 500 hours with no maintenance worries.

The landscaping contractor is said to have used the fork attachment to move paver pallets and the bucket for soil, mulch and site waste.

The Schaffer articulated loader 3150 is powered by a Kubota V2203 50hp engine, and has an operating weight of 2,750kg with a GP bucket. The 3150 is suitable for landscaping applications such as digging, moving soil, unloading and moving brick paver pallets and removing site waste.
