Outrigger provides various sail awnings for landscape sun protection

OUTRIGGER says its sail awnings designed like a traditional yacht sail can be manufactured to almost any shape and size.

According to the company, the sails are manufactured like a traditional yacht sail and can be constructed as a rainproof structure. The rainproof sails are generally made from a premium grade teflon coated pvc fabric called Ferrari Precontraint 502.

Outrigger says the awnings can also be manufactured from an open weave shade fabric such as Vistaweave or Outlook which typically provide 90% shade protection. Shade protection of 95% can be achieved through use of Soltis92 shade fabric which is coated with pvc mesh.

The company says all awnings are designed to withstand winds to 140 km/h and are suitable protection form the sun.
