Pope’s new PermaFit Connections help gardeners use water more effectively

TORO Australia says this season Pope has re-launched its garden hoses with the introduction of PermaFit Connections across its entire product range.

According to Toro, PermaFit Connections are an industry first with brass and plastic 12mm snap-on fittings now available. While crimped connections have been used in the past, Pope is the first to combine this technology with plastic snap-on style fittings.

Pope says the benefits of PermaFit Connections extend beyond the security of knowing the hose fittings are permanently attached. The connections prevent hose end fittings detaching from the hose mid watering, even in areas with high water pressure.

With the introduction of PermaFit Connections, a new look packaging for the Pope products has been launched to be both eye catching and informative.

Making the task of selecting the correct hose for a home or situation, Pope’s Kink Resistance Rating, ranks each hose between 1 and 10 on its ability to resist kinks, twists and bends, the higher the rating, the more kink resistant the hose.

Pope says its heavy duty Spectrum Garden Hose is proving popular amongst its customers, as it combines functionality with performance. Its extra thick outer wall aids kink resistance with a resistance rating of 7 and the outer layer has been UV treated to prolong hose life.
