Eco-Barrier has been developed by Nanokote.
The anti-graffiti product, which uses nanotechnology, is a paint-on coating which is transparent and permanent and can be used on all surfaces, including concrete, brick, paint, timber, metal, glass and plastic. The product is also resistant to UV light and moisture.
Once a surface is coated, graffiti can be easily removed by using a readily available environmentally friendly cleaner.
Nanokote is currently working with a number of Victorian councils to apply Eco-Barrier in public spaces to help implement the Victorian government’s graffiti management strategy and is currently being trialled by Connex and VicRoads.
