Austral celebrates 100 years with The Brickmasters 1788-2008 book

AUSTRAL Bricks is celebrating 100 years of brick making with the release of ‘The Brickmasters 1788-2008’ a history of brick making in Australia.

Austral says the book documents the role of bricks in the building of the Australian colonies through to Austral Bricks’ contribution to brick making in the present day.

‘The Brickmasters 1788-2008’ details how bricks have shaped the Australian built environment more than any other material in recorded history.

Social and economic historian Ron Ringer was commissioned by Austral Bricks to create the book due to his extensive experience and expertises in the field.
