Plants Plus now Waterwise

Plants Plus within Australind Home Hardware and Garden is now a Waterwise Garden Centre after being recognised by the Water Corporation.

"To be endorsed as a Waterwise Garden Centre, participants are required to meet a range of stringent requirements, including providing training of staff in the latest Waterwise gardening techniques," says Scott Moorhead, Water Corporation regional business manager.

The Waterwise Garden Centre initiative was launched in 2003 to encourage the use of products and services designed to maximise water savings.

Australind Home Hardware and Garden owners Adrian and Leah Triplett say garden centre manager Angela Brindley has many years experience in the industry and offers professional advice for new or established gardens.

Australind Home Hardware and Garden stocks a range of waterwise native plants, soil conditioners, seedlings and giftware.
