Located at Nambour on the Sunshine Coast, the Queensland Home Garden Expo is a three-day gardening expo for green thumbs and novice gardeners.

The event will be held July 9-11.

The Landscaped Gardens will involve designers and landscapers who will be on-site to construct their own full-size garden for visitors to view.

The Garden Expo Landscape Challenge competition will also be in full force with all landscapers and garden designers vying for gold, silver and bronze trophies and cash prizes.

Some of Australia’s leading experts will join the expo for three days of lectures, demonstrations and workshops. Colin Campbell, Annette McFarlane, Ross McKinnon and Phil Dudman will be on-site each and every day to offer advice.

The Q & A Panel each afternoon will allow visitors to get gardening questions answered or if you want more personal advice on any gardening problem or help with plant identification, the Plant Clinic is available.

All nurseries exhibiting at the expo are members of Nursery and Garden Industry QLD, with over 40,000 plants for sale.

There will also be a number of Garden Club Groups specialising in Hibiscus, Orchids, Frangipani, Geraniums, Tropical Foliage Plants and more.
