Sir Walter offers buffalo grass as drought tolerant lawn turf

SIR Walter says its buffalo grass is a drought tolerant lawn turf which does not require mowing or maintenance.

According to the company, buffalo grass is suitable for layering over a wide range of surface types in addition to edging and trimming.

Buffalo grass is said to be tolerant to a wide range of diseases such as curling and rotting that are common with conventional grass types.

The company says the grass solution does not easily wear away, is resistant to salt and weeds and also displays tolerance to pests such as grubs.
