The Parks and Wildlife Service has begun a recruitment drive, with up to 30 positions available around Tasmania.
The positions on offer included jobs for rangers, field officers and building supervisors.
The recruitment drive follows from the State Government funding an additional $10 million over four years, which provides for hiring of up to 30 additional staff.
These additional staff will help us to work with the community to maintain roads, campgrounds, toilets, walking tracks and visitor centres.
The new positions are based in areas from Arthur River to Cradle Mountain, Huonville, the Tasman Peninsula, Freycinet, St Helens, Mole Creek, Hobart and Scottsdale.
Visit www.jobs.tas.gov.au for information on the positions available.
Applications close Friday, February, 19, 2010.
