AUSTRAL Bricks says its new Metallix range is a face brick designed to standout thanks to its glistening sheen.
Natalie Frendo, Austral Bricks' NSW marketing coordinator, says the Metallix range was developed to modernise the age-old building material. The new generation of brick compliments the introduction of composite façades and bolder home designs.
‘The Metallix range is a direct result of the company’s commitment to breaking new ground and innovative development in the brick industry,’ Frendo says.
The Austral Metallix range is available in four colours; Bronze, Nickel, Platinum and Copper.
The colour palette, although not reflective, offers a quartz-like effect when the sun hits it. Austral says the unique change depending on lighting, combined with the colour selection, contrasts well with materials such as metal and glass commonly used in today’s façades.
Austral says Metallix bricks are suitable for internal and external use and are rated for use in coastal environments where the effects of wind-born salt spray can affect other products.
