Downes Wholesale Nursery has added several new plants to its range.

Lomandra confertifolia Keira produces a ball shaped mound of needle like leaves which are bright green in colour. It is soft to touch and suitable for areas where children play, particularly for border planting. Its spherical shape offers the opportunity for a designer to create graphic patterns in a garden bed.

Lomandra Keira grows to 30 cm tall x 40 cm wide.

Lomandra confertifolia Tilga is a vigorous, narrow-leafed Lomandra that develops a graceful weeping habit as it matures. Its foliage is soft to touch, making it suitable for high traffic areas. These characteristics make Tilga a dependable selection for large scale plantings either in rows beside roadways or en masse in parks and gardens.

Lomandra Tilga grows to 70 cm tall x 40-50 cm wide.

Lomandra confertifolia rubiginosa Crackerjack has fine leaves. New season's growth is blue, maturing to green with age. With flowers positioned deep in the foliage. Lomandra Crackerjack grows to 45 cm tall x 1m wide.

Dianella caerulea Stampede is a compact form of caerulea growing to 35 cm to 45 cm tall. It is drought tolerant, making it suitable for a wide range of solutions from garden edges, Balinese gardens to mass planting in roadside gardens. The foliage is dense, making it a suitable border plant.
