NECO Holdings says its Rain Tap diverts rainwater from gutters to the garden, saving garden watering costs.

The company says with the Rain Tap, the rain water that would ordinarily go down the drain is redirected to water the lawn, garden or stored in a tank for later use.

In heavy rain, the Rain Tap has a built-in overflow system that drops the excess water down the stormwater drain.

Neco says the Rain Tap is easy to install, but requires a section of downpipe to be removed. Homeowners may need to add extra wall brackets if the downpipe is not already secure.

The Rain Tap fits a 90mm round downpipe. For a rectangular downpipe, adapters are requires. These adapters are sold separately.
