TORO says its Groundsmaster 4500 and 4700 Rotary Motors have been updated, adding a 58hp Kubota turbo-diesel engine to the 2.7m and 3.8m mowers.

According to Toro, the redesign of the two models incorporates a new integrated control hub with fingertip electronic controls, a 4-way adjustable seat with air-ride suspension, and a new hood for top air-intake.

The Groundsmaster 4500 and 4700 Rotary Motor’s new features include a SmartCool auto-reversing engine cool fan system, and an EPA Tier 4i compliant, 58-hp, 2.4-litre Kubota turbo-diesel engine.

Toro says the addition of the Kubota engine makes the 4500 and 4700 the most powerful mowers in their class.

Kevin Conry, senior marketing manager for Groundsmaster and SandPro says the new features of Groundsmaster 4500 and 4700 will increase productivity through increased comfort and equipment run time.

‘The rotary mowers still feature free-floating Contour Plus cutting units, which follow the contour of your turf for a premier quality of cut,’ says Conry.
