U CAN ‘all-in-one’ system for watering and fertilising the garden

US based U CAN Brand has launched its U CAN Watering System, an ‘all-in-one’ watering can at The Independent Garden Centre Show 2009.

According to the company, the new garden product connects watering and fertilizing into a single function. The U CAN can stores any kind of fertilizer, be it water soluble, dry or liquid and reminds gardeners when to fertilize again.

Capable of holding 7.6L of water, the watering can features rubber handles and moulded finger holds to evenly distribute weight while carrying, lifting and pouring. Constructed from recycled plastic, the watering can displays the trademark ‘Keep America Growing.’

The 2009 Late Spring Gardening Trends Report by the Garden Writers Association says almost half of American households with a yard or garden planned to add or expand their vegetable garden in 2009.
